So with Nintendo Treehouse showing off quite a bit at E3 2018, we received more information on the Let’s Go titles which fans have been waiting for. I’ve summarized in a quick list of what we can expect with a few screenshots showing the gorgeous world of Kanto.
– the Poké Ball Plus will come with the Mythical Pokémon Mew inside of it
– there will be a bundle pack that includes the game and the Poké Ball Plus for $99.99, let’s hope we get it locally as well
– just as it is in Pokémon GO using a Razz Berry in Let’s Go will make the Pokémon easier to catch
– you’ll also gain more experience the larger the Pokémon you catch
– your party Pokémon all gain experience after a capture
– certain wild Pokémon will have aura around them. Red signifies larger than normal, Blue signifies smaller
– trainers will be able to have a Pokémon follow them as well as have the theme Pokémon on their shoulder (Pikachu) or their head (Eevee). The larger Pokémon can also be ridden like the Onix in the image below
– all stats such as hp, attack, defense, speed, special attack and special defense are available including Pokémon natures
– CP is also confirmed for Let’s Go titles but unlike Pokémon GO it works as an indicator of the Pokémons combined stats
– it seems that before you can battle at Pokémon Gyms you’ll need to meet certain requirements, in the case of the Pewter Gym you’ll have to show proof of possessing a water or grass type Pokémon
– when transferring Pokémon from Pokémon GO into Let’s Go the Pokémon will appear in the GO park which resembles the safari zone in previous games, here players will be able to bring their Pokémon GO Pokémon into Let’s Go by catching the Pokémon, however their original information from Pokémon GO will change
– Pokémon can only be transferred from Pokémon GO to Let’s Go and not the other way around
– the higher the CP of a Pokémon in Pokémon GO, the higher its level will be once transferred into Let’s Go
– Let’s Go candy works differently than Pokémon GO. The candy in Let’s Go affects the Pokémons stats, for example Quick candy increases the Pokémons speed
– Mew will not be able to be transferred from Pokémon GO
